Surprise effect
The pop up home A widespread
mood to be permeated by what happens outside,
constantly looking for a surprise effect. A
casual way of life which conceives mutability
and changement as opportunities. A fluid
existence with unpredictable paths, where people
identities are shaped by never-ending role
games. Improvisation is preferred to planning,
hazards to forecast.
Nostalgia The life storehouse A trend based on a continuous reuse of styles and behaviours from the past, as an immense, vital repertoire of images, icons, graphic and figurative references, which fashion system, advertising, design, and graphics draw from/on. A constantly renewed fascination which keeps going back by quoting and redefining a handful of archetypical images and mythical places.
Lost Paradise Back-to-nature living Home as a little and private paradise where you can find again the pristine space of the origins and a natural balance with yourself, the others and the environment. The core values of the daily back-to-nature experience are the olistic wellness, pursuit of freedom, authentic materials and places.
SuperFlat
The bidimensional house An aesthetic trend based on two-dimensional expressiveness. Ultra-flat objects, flat surface that evoke the fluidity of the digital world. The lack of depth exalts the primacy of the gesture and the line. It's the graphic mark that becomes an object or a decoration with the aid of old (stencils, drawings, wallpaper) and new technologies (laser).
