PRODUCT PROMOTED
The commercial purpose is essentially that of attracting traffic to the Hall.
MECHAMISM:
All those who visit the September 2008 Macef Trade Fair between 05.09.2008 and 08.09.2008, will be able to pick up a brochure containing a postcard to enter this competition from all reception desks at the entrance to the fair.
To enter, the visitor must complete all sections of the postcard and place it
by no later than 08-09-2008 in a barrel set up for the purpose at the “Area Concorso Bijoux” Stand in Hall 12 at the Fair.
At the end of the promotional period the barrel will be taken to the promoting Company’s office at Via Varesina, 76 Milano, and by 30.09.2008 a local official or notary will extract 1 postcard/name which will win a prize consisting of a week’s trip for two people to Kenya.
A further 5 reserve postcards/names will also be drawn to use, in order of extraction, in the event the winner cannot be traced or declines the prize.
Please note:
postcards bearing illegible, incomplete or obviously false information will not be considered as valid entries for the competition and the winner will not be entitled to the prize;
entry in the competition is limited to those resident and/or domiciled in Italy and aged 18 or over;
the barrel will be sealed and tamper-proof.
PRIZE:
A week’s trip to Kenya with accommodation at the Dreams of Africa Hotel in Malindi for 2 people, worth € 3,200.00 (including VAT).
The holiday includes: Economy Class flight departing from Milan and accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis at a 5-star hotel.
The trip may be taken in the period from 1 November 2008 to 31 March 2009, excluding Christmas, New Year and long weekends for public holidays.
The prize does not include the costs of transport from the winner’s home to the airport and back, excursions or other attractions at the destination or any services other than those mentioned.
It should be noted that the value of the trip offered is indicative as it is calculated on the basis of the current euro/dollar exchange rate and cost of fuel, which may be subject to further increases depending on the fluctuating price of petrol. The hotel offered should also be considered as indicative as it could be subject to alteration in the event of the Tour Operator making changes to the programme or due to force majeure. In any event, an equal or better product is guaranteed.
In the event the winner or companion is a minor, the trip may be undertaken exclusively in accordance with the prevailing laws regarding travel abroad by minors.
VALUE OF THE PRIZE:
€ 3,200.00 (VAT included).
WAIVER OF RIGHT TO RECOVER TAX:
The organizing company declares that it waives the right to recover tax paid at source from the winner in terms of art 30 D.P.R. 600 of 29/9/73.
EXECUTION AND GUARANTEES:
The winner will be notified by registered letter with proof of delivery or by telegram.
The promoting Company assumes no liability in the event of notification of the win not being delivered due to an erroneous or untrue name or address being supplied by the winner and/or misdelivery by the post office.
If the winner is unable to make use of the prize, it may be ceded to another person of his/her choice.
If the prize is not awarded it will be donated to charity in accordance with the law to the non-profit organization: Italian Committee for UNICEF with registered office at Via V. E. Orlandi, 83 – 00185 Rome – Tax No. 01561920586.

Collection of entrants’ personal details will be in accordance with Legislative Decree 196/2003.
